2 cups + ¼ cup Oatsome Organic Oat Milk Barista or Original
2 cups pasta of choice
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp table salt
⅛ tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp lemon juice (about ¼ of a lemon)
In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, bring 2 cups of oat milk and 2 cups of pasta to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce heat to medium-low and cook uncovered according to pasta’s package recommended cook time for “al-dente.”
While pasta is cooking, in a separate bowl, combine cornstarch and the remaining ¼ cup oat milk. Whisk gently until combined.
Once pasta is al-dente, turn the heat off and add the cornstarch mixture to the pasta and milk (without draining). Stir to combine.
Add nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and paprika. Stir to combine and the sauce will begin to thicken.
Finish by adding lemon juice and stir gently before serving warm. If at any point the sauce becomes too thick, thin by adding additional oat milk, one Tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
