- 1¾ Cups All-Purpose Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1½ Cups Oatsome Oat Milk
- 1 tsp. Pure Vanilla Extract
- 3 Tbsp avocado Oil
- 1½ Tbsp Lemon Juice
- Dash Salt
- Couple drops or red food coloring or 2-3 tsp beet root powder for red color
- Fresh Strawberries and raspberries
In a mixing bowl stir together lemon juice and oat milk. Let stand for about three minutes.
Add eggs, avocado oil, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
Add flour, baking powder, beet root powder (if using red food coloring add here), and salt. Whisk until creamy.
Use a waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Serve with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
You can keep cooked waffles warm in the oven at 200 degrees.
