
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 2 ¼ cups brown sugar packed
- 2 ¼ cups Oatsome Protein Oats
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp flour all-purpose (or a gluten-free flour blend)
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and remove from heat. Allow cooling for 5 minutes.
In a mixing bowl or mixer, combine brown sugar, protein oats, egg, and vanilla. Gradually add brown butter. Mix until combined.
Stir in salt and flour.
Using a cookie scoop, drop onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet leaving ample room to spread. Bake for 7-8 minutes or until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about a minute before removing them to a wire rack.
