Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 2 1/4 cups brown sugar packed
  • 2 1/4 cups Oatsome Protein Oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp flour all-purpose (or a gluten-free flour blend)

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and remo ve from heat. Allow cooling for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. In a mixing bowl or mixer, combine brown sugar, protein oats, egg, and vanilla. Gradually add brown butter. Mix until combined.
  4. 4. Stir in salt and flour.
  5. 5. Using a cookie scoop, drop onto a parchment - lined cookie shee t leaving ample room to spread. Bake for 7 - 8 minutes or until golden brown. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about a minute before removing them to a wire rack.
