Iced Honey Lavender Oat Milk Latte

Ingredients

  • Lavender Honey Simple Syrup:
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp dried lavender flowers, culinary grade
  • Iced Latte:
  • 2 tsp lavender honey simple syrup
  • 3 ounces espresso (2 shots), or ½ cup extra strong coffee
  • 1/2 cup Oatsome Oat Milk
  • Ice

Directions

Simple Syrup:
1. In a small saucepan, combine honey, water, and lavender flowers. Heat over medium-high heat until simmering, stirring occasionally until the honey is dissolved.

2. Remove from heat and let sit for 20-60 minutes to allow the lavender to infuse fully. Strain the syrup into a jar using a fine mesh strainer. You can use it immediately if needed.

Latte:

1. Pour approximately 2 tsp of the lavender honey simple syrup into a 12 oz. glass or jar to drink from. You can adjust the sweetness level as needed.

2. Add the espresso and stir to combine.

3. Fill the glass with ice, then pour Oatsome Oat Milk and stir to combine thoroughly.

4. Add more Oatsome Oat Milk as desired.

5. Serve immediately and enjoy your Iced Honey Lavender Oat Milk Latte!

The lavender honey simple syrup will make enough for many lattes (around 1/2 cup total). Store the extras in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
