Ingredients
- 1/3 cup vegan butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup of ripe banana
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cup Oatsome Oat Flour Blend
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup walnuts chopped
Directions

Preheat oven to 350ºF—line baking sheets with parchment paper.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat the vegan butter, granulated sugar, and banana until well combined and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, salt, baking powder, and baking soda until combined.

Add the Oatsome Oat Flour Blend to the creamed mixture. Mix until flour is incorporated.

Mix in the chocolate chips and walnuts.

Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheets.

Bake for 10-14 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned.

Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely. If desired, glaze with a powder of sugar icing and sprinkle with walnuts.
