Chai Overnight Oats

Ingredients

Servings: 1
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 chai tea bag
  • Pinch of salt
  • 0–2 Tbsp agave or maple syrup

Instructions

  1. 1. Whisk together all ingredients in a medium - sized mixing bowl. Spoon into a pint or half liter jar with a tight - fitting lid. Place the tea bag on the inside of the jar to steep overnight with the oats.
  2. 2. Close and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight, before eating. When ready to serve, remove the tea bag and sprinkle it with cinnamon and a drizzle of agave or maple syrup.
