Ingredients
- 1 package ready to eat tapioca pearls
- For the Brown Sugar Syrup:
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of water
- For the Drink:
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar syrup
- 1/4 cup cooked tapioca pearls
- 1 cup Oatsome Oatmilk
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine the brown sugar and water over high heat and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium and let it bubble until the mixture has thickened slightly, about 5minutes. It will continue to thicken as it cools.
- Transfer the syrup to a bowl and let cool to room temperature.
- Assemble the drink. In a cocktail shaker, combine the Oatsome Oat Milk and 1 Tbsp of brown sugar syrup. Add more or less syrup depending on your preference. Fill with ice and shake well until it’s nice and frothy.
- In a glass add the cooked tapioca pearls. Strain the chilled brown sugar milk into the glass.
- Serve with a bubble tea or smoothie straw and enjoy.
